Properties of the Biotin

Stimulates keratin synthesis

Keratin is the main protein that makes up hair. Biotin helps keratin synthesis in hair follicle cells (keratinocytes).

Promotes hair growth

Biotin supports the anagen phase (growth phase in the hair cycle) by optimizing hair follicle growth.

Optimizes keratinocyte function

The skin and nails are also made up of keratin, so liposomal biotin helps strengthen their structure.

Biotin is mainly found in foods of animal origin. Its absorption is partly dependent on a healthy lifestyle and good intestinal mucosal integrity. Liposomal technology helps to enhance the bioavailability of the active ingredient and optimize its assimilation. The LCA-BioScience® complex optimizes the effects of biotin.

Biotin, also known as vitamin B8, plays an essential role in keratin synthesis, helping to strengthen hair structure and promote hair growth. It participates in numerous enzymatic reactions in the body, mainly related to protein and fatty acid metabolism. This water-soluble vitamin is also involved in cell division in the hair follicles, stimulating hair growth, particularly during the anagen phase (hair growth phase). By improving amino acid metabolism, biotin helps strengthen the hair follicle, making hair more resistant and denser.
