L-Théanine
L-Theanine is a natural amino acid primarily known for its relaxing and soothing effects. First isolated in 1949 from tea leaves, it is mainly found in green tea (Camellia sinensis) and, to a lesser extent, in black and white tea. Naturally, it represents about 1-2% of the dry weight of tea leaves. L-Theanine is known to promote a state of relaxation without causing drowsiness. Research indicates that L-Theanine may help reduce anxiety levels by decreasing the physiological response to stress. Additionally, while not sedative, L-Theanine can improve sleep quality by calming the mind and reducing the time it takes to fall asleep.
Vitamine B6
A water-soluble vitamin present in three forms: pyridoxine, pyridoxal, and pyridoxamine. Its active form in the body, usable in biological reactions, is pyridoxal-5-phosphate or PLP. Vitamin B6 facilitates the activation and utilization of magnesium in numerous enzymatic reactions.
